2004-07-19 - 10:54 p.m.

So, our DVD player broke a couple of weeks ago and as it was reasonably new we thought we'd get it repaired. We discovered that it would be cheaper to get another new one so as the dustmen were coming today we put it out on top of our rubbish hoping that someone technically minded would take it and fix it up maybe.

Phoe was in her bedroom earlier on when she heard the familiar sound of a Beetle engine. It actually turned out to be an old VW Camper van and it stopped outside of our house.

'Cool' thought Phoe at the thought of a dude taking home our DVD player and enjoying it. When he'd gone she snuck down stairs to see if he really had taken the machine.

He had

.....together with all 4 bags of our household rubbish!

Now, in my mind, the 'dude' might have thought that there would be more goodies inside our rubbish; perhaps we'd had a clear-out and there were treasures in our sacks. On the other hand, perhaps he was going to take the bags and rifle through to see if there were any papers containing our credit card numbers, bank statements or other bits of sensitive information that he could use for bad purposes.

....I'll tell you what he will find.

I hope he rips open the 'shit-bomb' bag with gay abandon. Perhaps on his bed or on his dinner table. It was a lovely hot day today too. Wonder how long it will take him to get rid of all the flies.
